The angles of his face had hardened with time, jaw always set in tension, a dark cloud of guilt, anger, and pain surrounding him, encompassing the carefree loving man he used to be. And not for the first time Jo wondered what happened to him. What happened to the man she fell in love with five years ago?

I'm so glad you liked this! I'm a Dean/Jo shipper and this was my very first Sam/Jo story where she wasn't with him because Dean was dead or something LOL.
